Willesden Green is an energetic and dynamic community. In 939AD the area was known as the Hill of the Spring, and had been developed into a combination of estates and farming land. With the gradual onset of industry came the market for housing. Today the area has a vibrant mix of cultures and age groups who are united in this cosmopolitan community. Finding time and space to relax is easy; there are many green spaces including Gladstone Park which is just a 15 minute walk away. For those interested in sailing, the Welsh Harp boating and conservation centre is just 3 miles away. 112 is well located to all local amenities, including a Sainsbury’s Local on your doorstep. There is also an impressive selection of bars and restaurants to cater for all tastes. And, should you fancy a trip to the West End, you’ll be pleasantly surprised to find your tube journey is only 20 minutes.
Travel/Connections
Willesden Green Underground (Zone 2) is on the Jubilee Line and is only 20 minutes from Green Park and the West End. Mainline First Capital connect services run through West Hampstead, which is only 10 minutes away by tube. Trains from West Hampstead operate to London St Pancreas, where one can connect to the Eurostar. Silver link Metro (also known as the North London Line) operates out of West Hampstead, and provides regular services to Richmond, Stratford and North Woolwich. Extensive bus routes are also within easy reach.
